Aemouma is not a label with a factory behind it. Each garment is drafted, cut and sewn start to finish by the person who designed it, which sets a hard limit on how much can exist. That limit is the point.

The first pieces are still on the table. Every seam is being sewn by one pair of hands, which means the chapter opens when it is finished and not before.
(003) The vitrines
All collectionsThe plinths are set and empty. The first pieces go up the day they come off the table — ask to be told when that happens.
(004) Manifesto
A garment should outlast the reason you bought it.
Nothing here is made in a quantity anyone would call efficient. Seams are finished on the inside where no one will look. Repairs are free, for as long as the garment exists.
(005) Process
Four steps, none of them fast

Cloth
Fabric is chosen a few metres at a time — deadstock, mill ends, and small runs from suppliers who will answer the phone. What runs out, runs out.
- 02
Pattern
Every pattern is drafted flat, cut in calico, and worn for a week before it is trusted. Fit is decided on a body, not on a table.
- 03
Hand
Cutting, sewing, pressing and finishing are done by one person. A single garment can take upwards of twenty hours.
- 04
Release
Pieces appear when they are finished. There is no calendar, no season, and no restock of something already made.
